  • Appointment of Credit Advisor for Stage 1 Operations

Formal process to evaluate ‘Stage 1′ financing strategy in parallel with DFS

    HIGHLIGHTS

    • Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) and upgrade drilling underway for ‘Stage 1′ operations at Central Gawler Mill (CGM), following dual Challenger JORC (2012) Mineral Resources upgrades to 313koz Au1

    • Early discussions underway with multiple credit, minerals trading and other investment groups who have approached Barton with an interest to participate in and / or finance ‘Stage 1′ operations

    • Bedrock Advisory Partners appointed to manage credit portion of Barton’s ‘Stage 1′ finance process

ADELAIDE, AU / ACCESS Newswire / February 3, 2026 / Barton Gold Holdings Limited (ASX:BGD)(OTCQB:BGDFF)(FRA:BGD3) (Barton or Company) is pleased to announce the appointment of Bedrock Advisory Partners (Bedrock) to manage the credit portion of Barton’s financing process for targeted ‘Stage 1′ operations at its South Australian Challenger Gold Project (Challenger).

Barton’s wholly-owned Central Gawler Mill (CGM) is the region’s only gold mill, located adjacent to Challenger. This provides Barton material leverage for a relatively low-cost, de-risked transition to operations. An ongoing DFS is targeting baseline ‘Stage 1′ operations using only historical higher-grade tailings and limited near-surface materials, to maximise Challenger underground, Tarcoola, Wudinna and Tolmer development optionality.

The Company has held early discussions with a wide range of minerals investment, trading, and credit finance groups interested to participate in or finance planned ‘Stage 1′ operations on a wide range of indicative terms. Bedrock will assist Barton to formalise and manage a thorough process to evaluate these potential options.

Bedrock’s leadership team has decades of natural resources finance experience with firms such as BNP Paribas, Royal Bank of Canada and NM Rothschild & Sons, and has successfully completed A$ billions of financings for Australian precious metals groups such as Ramelius, Northern Star, Vault (Red 5), OceanaGold, and Gold Road.

Bedrock’s credit and technical expertise will enhance Barton’s own capacity and supplement its demonstrated in-house capabilities in metals trading and equity capital markets. Bedrock will also assist with operational and credit risk modelling to optimise and de-risk Barton’s investment strategy and transition to ‘Stage 1′ operations.

Commenting on the appointment of Bedrock Advisory Partners, Barton MD Alexander Scanlon said:

“With record high gold prices and over 300koz Au JORC Resources confirmed, the opportunity to leverage our existing, fully permitted infrastructure at the Central Gawler Mill to ‘Stage 1′ operations has never been more attractive.

“Reinstatement of the CGM will also materially enhance the exploration and development optionality of the historical high-grade Challenger underground mine and Barton’s ‘regional enhancement’ assets Tarcoola, Tolmer and Wudinna, each of which could potentially provide high-grade gold and silver mineralisation for processing through the CGM.

“We will evaluate a range of potential ‘Stage 1′ financing options which may include a combination of conventional or structured credit, trade finance, commodities trading, and equity approaches. Based upon a thorough evaluation of options, and how these may complement the results of our ‘Stage 1′ DFS, we will pursue the best approach for Barton. Bedrock’s deep credit and technical expertise will be an invaluable asset to the ongoing refinement of our strategies

  • 2026 Tunkillia Development Drilling Programs Begin

Targeting Ore Reserves, PFS and ML application by the end of 2026

    HIGHLIGHTS

    • May 2025 Optimised Scoping Study (OSS) outlined a compelling Tunkillia development project:1

      • Annual production: ~120,000oz gold and ~250,000oz silver

      • Total LoM operating cash: ~A$2.7 billion (unlevered, pre-tax)

      • Net Present Value (NPV7.5%): ~A$1.4 billion (unlevered, pre-tax)

      • Internal Rate of Return (IRR): ~73.2% (unlevered, pre-tax); and

      • Payback period: ~0.8 years (unlevered, pre-tax)

    • Barton expediting Tunkillia toward Mining Lease (ML) application, with AUD gold and silver prices now over $1,500/oz and $50/oz higher (respectively) than used for OSS revenue estimates1

    • ~900m water drilling has started, targeting potential new water sources near OSS open pits

    • ~28,000m second phase reverse circulation (RC) Resource upgrade drilling to begin March 2026, with ~3,000m Resource, geotechnical & metallurgical diamond drilling (DD) to start in parallel

    • Targeting JORC (2012) Ore Reserves, pre-feasibility study (PFS) & ML application by end of 2026

ADELAIDE, AU / ACCESS Newswire / February 2, 2026 / Barton Gold Holdings Limited (ASX:BGD)(OTCQB:BGDFF)(FRA:BGD3) (Barton or Company) is pleased to announce the start of water bore drilling at its South Australian Tunkillia Gold Project (Tunkillia). Underdale Drillers has been engaged to complete a program totalling ~900m drilling for preliminary water testing. Success in locating additional sources of nearby water has the potential to both de-risk and improve project economics.

Barton is also pleased to confirm that Tunkillia’s planned second phase JORC (2012) Mineral Resource upgrade drilling will start as planned during March 2026, with ~28,000m RC drilling targeting the conversion of the balance of Tunkillia’s OSS modelled open pit mineralisation (beyond S1 / S2) to JORC (2012) ‘Indicated’ category.2

A ~3,000m diamond drilling (DD) program is planned to run in parallel with phase 2 RC drilling, targeting the infill and expansion of Tunkillia’s geotechnical and metallurgical databases in support of further open pit design optimisation, detailed recovery and production modelling, and a PFS and ML application by the end of 2026.

Commenting on Tunkillia’s 2026 development drilling programs, Barton MD Alexander Scanlon said:

“The Tunkillia OSS demonstrated the financial and capital leverage available to large-scale bulk processing operations, with the major advantage of a higher-grade ‘Starter Pit’ that can pay back development costs 2x over in the first year.

“With recent Resource upgrade drilling results further de-risking this profile, we are advancing our other development drilling programs in support of planned JORC Ore Reserves, a PFS, and a Mining Lease application by the end of 2026.

“Following the submission of our Mining Lease application, we will expedite Tunkillia’s project finance discussions in parallel with our targeted reinstatement of ‘Stage 1′ operations at our neighbouring Challenger Gold Project. Our objective is to bring Tunkillia online as soon as possible to realise our gold production target of 150,000oz annually.”

    Program background

Tunkillia’s May 2025 OSS outlined a compelling development profile, with its S1 and S2 pits modelled to produce 365,000oz gold, 923,000oz silver and $1.3bn operating free cash during the first ~27 months alone at an average cash cost of only A$1,429/oz Au.1 These pit could therefore pay back development 3x over in this time. 2026 development drilling programs follow recent ‘phase 1′ RC upgrade drilling (key detailed results below).2

  • Resource Upgrade Drilling Begins on Challenger Open Pits

Targeting Initial ‘Stage 1’ Ore Reserves and DFS by 30 June 2026

    HIGHLIGHTS

    • DFS underway following dual Challenger JORC (2012) Mineral Resources upgrades to 313koz Au[1]

    • Up to 8,000m reverse circulation (RC) drilling to target Challenger ‘Main’, ‘Challenger West’ (CW) open pits, plus open pit targets at ‘Challenger South-Southwest’ (CSSW) and ‘Challenger 3’1

    • DFS objective to establish viable, simplified ‘baseline’ Stage 1 operation to underwrite restart of CGM and maximise Challenger, Tarcoola, Wudinna & Tolmer development optionality

    • Discussions underway with credit, minerals trading, and other investment groups interested to finance Stage 1 operations; targeting JORC (2012) Ore Reserves and a DFS by 30 June 2026

ADELAIDE, AU / ACCESS Newswire / February 1, 2026 / Barton Gold Holdings Limited (ASX:BGD)(OTCQB:BGDFF)(FRA:BGD3) (Barton or Company) is pleased to announce the start of JORC upgrade drilling at its South Australian Challenger Gold Project (Challenger), which is adjacent to its wholly-owned Central Gawler Mill (CGM). Kennedy Drilling has been engaged for the program.

Up to 8,000m RC drilling will target conversion of easily accessible mineralisation on existing open pits and other near-surface targets to JORC (2012) ‘Indicated’ categories, for the potential conversion of these materials to JORC (2012) Ore Reserves subject to the completion of an ongoing Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS).

The design concept of the DFS is to commence an initial 3 – 4 year Stage 1 ‘baseline’ operation utilising only historical higher-grade tailings from tailings storage facility 1 (TSF1) and limited, near-surface materials without disturbing Challenger’s historical high-grade underground mine, its mineralisation or its infrastructure access.

The objective of the DFS is to establish relatively low-risk, simplified development plan to restart the CGM, bring Barton to ‘producer’ status, and maximise ‘Stage 1′ development optionality during the next 3 – 10 years. This model also has the benefit of deferring the technical risk and cost of underground operations to a future date, following the de-risking of ‘Stage 1′ operations, and providing further time to optimise development plans.

Reinstatement of the CGM also materially enhances the development optionality of Barton’s several ‘regional enhancement’ assets such as the Tarcoola Gold Project (Tarcoola), the Wudinna Gold Project (Wudinna) and high-grade Tolmer silver prospect (Tolmer) all of which could potentially be processed through the CGM.[2]

Commenting on Challenger’s Resource upgrade drilling programs, Barton MD Alexander Scanlon said:

“Recent Challenger Resource updates demonstrate considerable on-pit and near-surface gold mineralisation adjacent to our Central Gawler Mill. Our objective is to commence an initial ‘baseline’ operation which minimises both cost and risk, while maximising development optionality for the Challenger underground mine, Tarcoola, Tolmer and Wudinna.

“We have now moved straight to a DFS for reinstatement of the CGM – the region’s only existing gold mill – to enhance this broader optionality and also to capitalise on record gold and silver prices. We are targeting initial ‘Stage 1′ Ore Reserves and a DFS by 30 June 2026, and project financing shortly thereafter. In parallel, we are rapidly advancing our neighbouring large-scale Tunkillia Gold Project, targeting a Mining Lease application by the end of 2026.”

    Program background

During September 2025 Barton published a new Challenger JORC (2012) Mineral Resources Estimate (MRE) of 313koz Au (10.6Mt @ 0.92 g/t), with almost all MRE mineralisation located in, on, or adjacent to, existing serviceable open pit and underground development.[3]

All mineralisation is adjacent to the Company’s Central Gawler Mill (CGM). The updated MRE excludes various lower-grade stockpiles and higher-grade mill residuals (eg. ball mill rejects) which are located on the Run of Mine (ROM) pad. These materials will likely form a component of early mill feed as the hard rock crushing and grinding circuits are recommissioned for the start of Phase 2 (fresh rock) operations.

    • Tunkillia 2026 development drilling programs, including water bore drilling, ‘Phase 2′ upgrade drilling, and metallurgical / geotechnical diamond drilling expected to start during late January

ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA / ACCESS Newswire / January 20, 2026 / Barton Gold Holdings Limited (ASX:BGD)(OTCQB:BGDFF)(FRA:BGD3) ( Barton or Company ) is pleased to announce final Phase 1 upgrade drilling assays from its South Australian Tunkillia Gold Project ( Tunkillia ). These assays infill the S2 pit area with shallow, high-grade intersections, and provide further insights for optimisation of the geological model, including potential reinterpretation of shallow mineralised zones to favour vertically-controlled mineralisation instead of broader flat lying oxide and transitional zones.

Full details are contained in the complete announcement, which can be accessed on the ASX website, the investor section of Barton’s website, or directly by clicking here .

Commenting on the new Tunkillia assay results, Barton Managing Director Alexander Scanlon said :

“These results include some further standout assays, such as hole TKB0422 with a combined 46m grading an average 3.86g/t Au across a 51m interval. Such results will help us further de-risk development of a project modelled to produce $1.3bn free cash during the first 2.5 years alone – at A$5,000 gold and A$50 silver.

“We are looking forward to a very busy year at Tunkillia, with 2026 development drilling programs starting soon targeting JORC Mineral Resource upgrades, a PFS, and a Mining Lease application by the end of 2026.”

    • Balance of assays from recent Tunkillia ‘Phase 1′ upgrade drilling expected during January 2026, with updated JORC (2012) Mineral Resource Estimate by March 2026

ADELAIDE, AU / ACCESS Newswire / December 8, 2025 / Barton Gold Holdings Limited (ASX:BGD)(OTCQB:BGDFF)(FRA:BGD3) (Barton or Company) is pleased to announce further assays from recent drilling at its South Australian Tunkillia Gold Project (Tunkillia).

These assays continue to infill the shallow, northern portion of the S1 ‘Starter Pit’ with shallow, higher-grade intersections, and indicate potential refinement to modelling where vertical zones of mineralisation may intersect the interpreted base of the oxide and transitional zones.

Full details are contained in the complete announcement, which can be accessed on the ASX website, the investor section of Barton’s website, or directly by clicking here.

Commenting on the new Tunkillia assay results, Barton Managing Director Alexander Scanlon said:

“Tunkillia’s S1 and S2 pits are modelled to produce 365,000 ounces gold, 923,000 ounces silver, and $1.3 billion operating free cash during the first 2.5 years – assuming A$5,000 and A$50 gold and silver prices for revenues. This operating profile would pay back Tunkillia’s entire development cost more than 3x over during this period. Our latest results continue to infill this key mineralisation, identifying refinements and de-risking this profile.

“We expect the balance of Phase 1 infill drilling assays by January, and are targeting the conversion of Tunkillia’s ‘S1′ and ‘S2′ optimised open pit mineralisation to JORC ‘Measured’ and ‘Indicated’ categories by March 2026.”

High Resolution Gravity Survey Targets Challenger Repeats

Targeting near-mine indications of high-grade quartz vein lodes

    HIGHLIGHTS

    • High resolution survey over northern portion of EL 6502, which hosts the Challenger Gold Mine

    • Targeting gravity anomalies indicative of structures similar to Challenger’s high-grade gold lodes

ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA / ACCESS Newswire / January 5, 2026 / Barton Gold Holdings Limited (ASX:BGD)(OTCQB:BGDFF)(FRA:BGD3) (Barton or Company) is pleased to confirm the start of a high resolution airborne gravity survey surrounding its South Australian Challenger Gold Project (Challenger). The program is part of Barton’s research and development (R&D) initiatives trialling various technologies in historically under-explored terrain to define new geological models.

Fig. 1 – Northern portion of EL6502 (Barton 100% gold rights), the site of the Challenger Gold Mine

Commenting on the Challenger gravity survey, Barton Managing Director Alexander Scanlon said:

“With a DFS underway for the phased restart of operations at Challenger, leveraging our Central Gawler Mill, we are diligently pursuing our regional enhancement strategy. This includes not only our Tarcoola and Wudinna blending feed projects, but also the potential for near-mine repeats of Challenger’s high-grade quartz vein lodes.

“Challenger was developed during a period of record low gold prices, and as such historical investment favoured rapid development over local exploration. With existing infrastructure, new discoveries could be highly valuable.”

    Program details

Barton has engaged Xcalibur Smart Mapping (Xcalibur) to undertake a FALCON airborne gravity survey over the northern portion of Exploration License (EL) 6502. The program will include approximately 3,200 line kilometres of data collected, with survey lines flown at 200m spacing and approximately 80m altitude.

The Challenger Gold Mine is located on Mining Leases (ML) 6103 and 6457, both situated in the southwest corner of the northern portion of EL 6502. Challenger produced approximately 1.2 million ounces of gold during 2002 – 2018, and Barton maintains 100% of the gold rights over the northern portion of EL 6502.[1]

Challenger gold mineralisation occurs in a cluster of highly continuous, deformed quartz vein lodes plunging to ~1.3km depth including Challenger West (CW), Challenger South-Southwest (CSSW), Aminus, M1, M2, M3 and South East Zone (SEZ).[2] Existing ground gravity data around Challenger is very coarse, and it is theorised that high resolution data may provide a complimentary dataset to existing magnetics, aid in the interpretations of the regional structural setting, and assist with the identification of analogous host geological settings and associated structural targets that may lack a surface geochemical expression.

    • Follow up ‘western silver zone’ drilling anticipated for H1 2026 alongside other major programs

Barton Gold Holdings Limited (ASX:BGD)(OTCQB:BGDFF)(FRA:BGD3) (Barton or Company) is pleased to announce assays results from diamond drilling (DD) at the high-grade Tolmer gold and silver prospect, located at the Company’s South Australian Tarcoola Gold Project (Tarcoola). Three holes totalling 595.3m were recently drilled in the ‘eastern gold zone’ to identify structural controls and guide future targeting.2

Full details are contained in the complete announcement, which can be accessed on the ASX website, the investor section of Barton’s website, or directly by clicking here.

Commenting on the Tolmer DD assay results, Barton Managing Director Alexander Scanlon said:

“Tolmer’s western silver zone is an exciting recent discovery, with broad, high-grade silver supplemented by high-grade gold. Given its clear potential to become a material economic contributor to our regional development strategy, we are systematically building up a data set to enable smart targeting of its potential extensions.

“This drilling has given us a helpful ‘first look’ at local structural controls and, together with other recent drilling results and soil sampling data, will help guide future targeting across the Tolmer prospect. We will continue our review, with a focus on the western silver zone, and expect to follow up with further drilling during 2026.”

    • Balance of assays from recent Tunkillia ‘Phase 1′ upgrade drilling expected during December 2025 and January 2026, with updated JORC (2012) Mineral Resource Estimate by March 2026

ADELAIDE, AU / ACCESS Newswire / December 1, 2025 / Barton Gold Holdings Limited (ASX:BGD)(OTCQB:BGDFF)(FRA:BGD3) ( Barton or Company ) is pleased to announce first assay results from recent drilling at its South Australian Tunkillia Gold Project ( Tunkillia ). These assays confirm broad new intervals of high-grade gold mineralisation which infill the central portion of Tunkillia’s S1 ‘Starter Pit’, emphasising the high-value nature of this zone to Tunkillia’s development.

Full details are contained in the complete announcement, which can be accessed on the ASX website, the investor section of Barton’s website, or directly by clicking here .

Commenting on the new Tunkillia assay results, Barton Managing Director Alexander Scanlon said :

“Tunkillia’s S1 pit contains the project’s highest grade mineralisation, ideally located in a shallower, central zone. Modelling indicates that this will yield over 200,000 gold ounces, generating over $800 million in operating free cash and paying back Tunkillia’s entire development cost more than 2x over during the first year of operations.

“This early phase of upgrade drilling was therefore designed to further de-risk this profile by infilling higher-grade mineralisation to underwrite project finance. These results very much appear to support that objective, and also highlight the potential for the Tunkillia system to host very high grades within key structural features.

“We expect the balance of Phase 1 infill drilling assays by January, and are targeting the conversion of Tunkillia’s ‘S1′ and ‘S2′ optimised open pit mineralisation to JORC ‘Measured’ and ‘Indicated’ categories by March 2026.”

Tunkillia Upgrade Drilling – 18,900m Phase 1 Complete

First assays from highest value ‘S1′ area expected imminently

    HIGHLIGHTS

    • Phase 1 reverse circulation (RC) upgrade drilling on Tunkillia’s high value ‘Starter Pits’ complete1

    • Drilling completed ahead of schedule and under budget, with over 300m completed per day

ADELAIDE, AU / ACCESS Newswire / November 24, 2025 / Barton Gold Holdings Limited (ASX:BGD)(OTCQB:BGDFF)(FRA:BGD3) (Barton or Company) is pleased to confirm that upgrade drilling for the S1 and S2 pits at its South Australian Tunkillia Gold Project (Tunkillia) has completed ahead of schedule and under budget, with 18,893m drilled across 209 holes and 62 days.

Tunkillia’s S1 ‘Starter Pit’ is modelled to yield 206koz Au at a cost of only A$997 / oz, producing over A$800m operating cash and repaying development 2x over during the first year of operations.1

Fig. 1 – Long section showing Area 223 ‘Main’ pit and stages, and Tunkillia JORC MRE block model1

Commenting on Tunkillia’s Phase 1 upgrade drilling, Barton Managing Director Alex Scanlon said:

“Tunkillia’s S1 pit area contains the project’s highest grades in a shallow central zone. Modelling indicates that the S1 pit will pay back Tunkillia’s entire development cost more than 2x over during the first year of operations.

“Having been approached by multiple prospective development and finance partners, upgrading this area to JORC ‘Measured’ category will underwrite confidence in this profile while we evaluate the optimal path forward.

“We would like to recognise and thank Raglan Drilling for their professionalism and coordination with the Barton Gold team, delivering this Phase 1 drilling program safely, under budget, and well ahead of schedule.”

    Program background

Figure 2 shows Tunkillia’s S1 and S2 optimised pit outlines, with completed Phase 1 drill holes (green dots). Drilling is designed to convert S1 and S2 to JORC (2012) ‘Indicated’ category, and some of S1 to ‘Measured’, to support future conversion to ‘Proven’ and ‘Probable’ Ore Reserves (subject to technical assessment).1

    The central portion of the S1 pit contains a shallow, ~300m long zone of high-grade gold mineralisation within a broad (80 – 100m wide) zone of bulk open-pittable mineralisation.1 Historical drilling in the S1 area by Barton and others has yielded broad, high-grade assays such as 10m @ 15.7 g/t Au from 54m, 9m @ 6.57 g/t Au from 72m, 17m @ 5.90 g/t Au from 79m, and 15m @ 7.64 g/t Au from 100m depth.2

Phase 2 RC upgrade drilling is planned for March to June 2026, targeting conversion of all other Tunkillia OSS modelled open pit mineralisation to JORC (2012) ‘Indicated’ category. Diamond drilling (DD) will infill and expand geotechnical and metallurgical data to support further pit optimisation and feasibility studies.
