  • Texas Customers Chose 12-Month Electricity Contracts in 2025; Market Shifts Indicate Trend Will Continue

Texas Customers Chose 12-Month Electricity Contracts in 2025; Market Shifts Indicate Trend Will Continue

HOUSTON, TX, UNITED STATES, January 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — ElectricityPlans.com, a comparison shopping site, has released their second annual electricity shopping statistics revealing that more Texas shoppers chose short term electricity contracts in 2025 compared to 2024. The change reflects a continuation of consumers’ shopping patterns, plus changes in market pricing that gave minimal savings for locking in a longer-term contract.

    Key Findings:
    • 75% of Texas residential customers chose an electricity contract for 12 months or less in 2025 when comparison shopping. That compares to 63% selecting that option in 2024.
    • Electricity prices for 12-, 24- and 36-month electricity contracts converged in the second half of 2025. The 3-5% savings for a long-term contract commitment was not sufficient to attract consumers.

“We expect this trend toward shorter term contracts to continue in 2026 as the electricity markets have entered a “contango” market. In this market condition, long-term wholesale electricity contracts are more expensive than immediate prices,” said Rebecca Bridges, Chief Marketing Officer at ElectricityPlans.com. “Consumers can get low prices on 12- or 18-month electricity plans in Texas.”

The company also released their annual assessment of Texas Electricity Price Forecast for 2026. Texas residential electricity prices for 2026 will be similar to 2025, in the 14-19¢ per kWh range, but economic factors such as inflation, increasing power demands for AI and infrastructure investment point to higher energy costs in the next 4-5 years.

“Consumers who prefer price certainty may find value in longer-term contracts,” said Bridges.

Full information can be found on the ElectricityPlans.com.

  • QuanBio Appoints Aubrey C. Galloway, MD, as Chief Medical Officer

QuanBio Appoints Aubrey C. Galloway, MD, as Chief Medical Officer

METRO NEW YORK, NJ, UNITED STATES, January 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — QuanBio today announced the appointment of Aubrey C. Galloway, MD, as Chief Medical Officer, marking a defining moment as the company advances a new category of AI-driven vascular intelligence grounded in real-world cardiovascular care.

Dr. Galloway is a globally regarded authority in cardiothoracic surgery and one of the most accomplished figures in the field. He is former Chair of Cardiothoracic Surgery at NYU Langone Health, where he continues to serve as Professor and Director of Cardiac Surgery Research. His clinical expertise spans complex valve disease, aortic aneurysms, advanced cardiac surgery, and high-acuity cardiothoracic care. Over the course of his career, Dr. Galloway has built and scaled high-performance clinical programs, advanced surgical innovation, and translated complex cardiovascular physiology into measurable outcomes at institutional scale.

QuanBio is building a clinical intelligence platform designed to capture and analyze vascular and physiological signals across detection, intervention, recovery, and real-world care. Rather than relying on static snapshots or narrow disease labels, the company focuses on understanding disease severity, trajectory, and treatment impact in heterogeneous patient populations—where traditional models often fail due to complexity and variability.

As Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Galloway will guide QuanBio’s clinical strategy across cardiovascular disease and complex cardiothoracic care, ensuring that the platform reflects how clinicians assess risk, anatomy, and outcomes in practice. He will work closely with QuanBio’s scientific and data teams to shape clinical frameworks, support multi-center collaborations, and translate advanced analytics into clinically rigorous, scalable intelligence for research, life-science partners, and health systems.

“QuanBio is addressing a fundamental gap in cardiovascular medicine—the lack of clinically grounded intelligence that reflects how cardiovascular disease actually evolves in real patients,” said Aubrey C. Galloway, MD. “Across surgery, intervention, and recovery, outcomes are shaped by dynamic physiology, systemic stress, and biologic response, not isolated measurements. I am excited to contribute clinical perspective and help guide a platform that integrates these dimensions into scalable clinical intelligence.”

“Aubrey brings a rare combination of clinical breadth, institutional authority, and translational rigor that aligns precisely with how QuanBio is building clinically grounded intelligence at scale,” said Astrid Androsch, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of QuanBio. “His experience operating at the highest levels of cardiothoracic care and program building reflects exactly what QuanBio is creating: a vascular intelligence platform rooted in biological truth and real-world practice.”

Dr. Galloway has authored more than 300 peer-reviewed publications, is an inventor on multiple issued U.S. patents licensed to leading medical device companies, and has played a central role in shaping modern cardiothoracic surgery research and innovation. His appointment underscores QuanBio’s commitment to pairing advanced AI with deep clinical authority as the company expands its global clinical footprint.

  • One Year After Southern California Wildfires, Williams Rebuild Marks a Moment of Reflection, Progress, and Hope

One Year After Southern California Wildfires, Williams Rebuild Marks a Moment of Reflection, Progress, and Hope

Southern California builder honors the emotional weight of the anniversary while supporting 18 multigenerational Altadena families on their path home

These aren’t just projects — these are people I grew up with, streets I know by heart, and families determined to stay rooted in this community.”
    — Patrice Quishenberry

ALTADENA, CA, UNITED STATES, January 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — As Southern California communities approach the one-year anniversary of last year’s devastating wildfires, Williams Rebuild is marking the moment with empathy for families still navigating loss — and with hope rooted in visible progress across burn zones in Altadena and beyond.

Anniversaries of natural disasters can reopen wounds, especially for families still rebuilding their lives and homes. At the same time, they offer an opportunity to pause and acknowledge how far communities have come.

Over the past year, Williams Rebuild has been working alongside 18 families in Altadena, guiding them through an all-in-one rebuilding process designed to simplify what is often one of the most overwhelming chapters a family can face. Each journey is different, but all share a common goal: returning home to the communities they love.

“Anniversaries like this can be incredibly hard,” said Dan Faina, President of Williams Rebuild. “For many families, the loss is still very present. At the same time, we’re beginning to see tangible progress — plans approved, foundations prepared, homes taking shape. Our role is to meet families exactly where they are, whether that’s holding space for grief or helping them take the next step forward.”

Williams Rebuild was created in response to wildfire devastation, drawing on nearly 30 years of Southern California homebuilding experience and hard-earned lessons from past disaster recovery efforts. Its one-stop, family-centered model brings design, permitting, construction, and guidance together under one roof — reducing friction, delays, and emotional strain for homeowners.

For Patrice Quishenberry, Vice President of Williams Rebuild, the work is deeply personal. Raised in Altadena, she has been boots on the ground since the fires, connecting families with resources and walking alongside neighbors through every phase of rebuilding.

“These aren’t just projects — these are people I grew up with, streets I know by heart, and families determined to stay rooted in this community,” said Quishenberry. “Rebuilding isn’t only about restoring structures. It’s about preserving identity, history, and connection. A year later, we’re seeing hope return — not all at once, but step by step.”

One such example is the Lewis family, a multigenerational Altadena household rebuilding together after losing their home in the fire. Parents Anthony (Tony) and Lindsay Lewis — along with their three children — are navigating the process alongside Lindsey’s parents and Tony’s parents, who were also impacted. Their journey reflects both the layered challenges of wildfire recovery and the strength found in family support and shared resolve.

As the anniversary approaches, Williams Rebuild emphasizes that recovery is not linear — and that there is no “right” timeline for healing. The company remains committed to serving as a steady, local partner for families rebuilding at their own pace.

“Progress doesn’t erase loss,” added Faina. “But it does remind us why this work matters. Every home rebuilt represents a family choosing to stay, to return, and to invest again in the place they call home.”

Williams Rebuild will continue its work throughout Altadena and neighboring communities, supporting families through design, permitting, and construction — and honoring both the weight of what was lost and the resilience that continues to define Southern California.

    ABOUT WILLIAMS REBUILD
Williams Rebuild is a Southern California homebuilding company dedicated to helping families recover after wildfire loss. • Kennedy Design+Build Launches Online Outdoor Living Pricing Estimator for Homeowners in the Lehigh Valley

Kennedy Design+Build Launches Online Outdoor Living Pricing Estimator for Homeowners in the Lehigh Valley

New digital tool addresses rising demand for budgeting transparency as outdoor living upgrades become a top remodeling priority.

We know that starting a major outdoor project comes with a lot of questions, especially about cost”
    — Cameron Kennedy

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA, UNITED STATES, January 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Kennedy Design+Build has introduced a new digital Pricing Estimator for outdoor living projects, giving Lehigh Valley homeowners an accessible way to plan budgets for custom patios, pools, decks, and outdoor kitchens. The move comes as consumers increasingly turn to online platforms to research, vet, and engage with home service providers particularly for complex design-build projects.

With homeowners in the region investing more heavily in high-end outdoor environments, the estimator reflects a growing demand for upfront clarity, digital convenience, and trustworthy planning tools in the remodeling process.

Kennedy Design+Build serves residential clients throughout Center Valley, Allentown, and Coopersburg with custom design and installation of outdoor living features. Their services include:
Custom deck construction using premium low-maintenance materials
Outdoor kitchen design and installation with built-in appliances and entertainment zones
    • Pool and plunge pool design, including integrated landscaping
    • Landscape lighting design for aesthetics, safety, and extended usability

The new Outdoor Living Pricing Estimator is designed to help prospective clients understand realistic cost ranges before beginning a design consultation. Users can input basic project preferences such as desired features and size and receive a general estimate via downloadable PDF. While not a replacement for a detailed quote, the tool aims to support informed decision-making at the earliest stages.

The release of the estimator aligns with broader industry shifts:
    • Over 25% of homeowners’ remodeling budgets are now dedicated to outdoor spaces, outpacing kitchen renovations in priority
    • High interest rates and a tight housing market have led many families to “invest in place” rather than move
    • Nearly 98% of home improvement professionals say outdoor upgrades add measurable value to properties
    • Consumers increasingly expect mobile-first websites and transparent planning tools from service providers

These trends are especially pronounced in the Lehigh Valley, where affluent homeowners are reimagining backyards as multifunctional spaces blending entertainment, wellness, and relaxation without the need for home additions.

“We know that starting a major outdoor project comes with a lot of questions especially about cost,” said Cameron Kennedy, President of Kennedy Design+Build. “This estimator helps people get a clearer picture before they ever pick up the phone. It’s part of our larger effort to make the design-build process more transparent and approachable from day one.”

Across the home services sector, technology is reshaping how companies engage with clients. More homeowners now begin their contractor search online favoring businesses that offer digital tools, verified reviews, and easy ways to understand scope and budget. As digital ad costs rise and competition grows, design-build firms are also shifting their strategies to capture trust earlier in the customer journey.

This launch reflects a broader evolution in how outdoor living providers meet that expectation. Transparent planning tools are no longer a bonus they’re becoming a baseline for high-consideration services like custom pools and outdoor kitchens.

  • ExpertPipe Rooter Plumbing Expands to Indianapolis with Launch of ExpertPipe Indy

ExpertPipe Rooter Plumbing Expands to Indianapolis with Launch of ExpertPipe Indy

ExpertPipe Rooter expands into Indianapolis with the launch of ExpertPipe Indy, bringing licensed, honest plumbing services to Indy and Carmel homeowners.

CARMEL, IN, UNITED STATES, January 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — ExpertPipe Rooter, a trusted and highly rated plumbing and drain service company known for its transparent pricing and customer-first approach, has officially expanded into Central Indiana with the launch of ExpertPipe Indy, now serving Indianapolis, Carmel, and surrounding Northside communities. The new operation officially launched on September 1 and is fully licensed, insured, and equipped to provide professional residential plumbing services throughout the region.

The expansion is led by Boris Gringauz, Managing Partner and Service Manager of ExpertPipe. Gringauz is originally from Carmel, Indiana, and a graduate of Carmel High School and Butler University. After building and scaling a successful plumbing and drain operation in Cleveland, Ohio, he is bringing the same service model back to his hometown with the launch of ExpertPipe Indy.

Before entering the plumbing industry, Gringauz built a strong background in construction, real estate, and hands-on property rehabilitation, working directly with trades across hundreds of residential projects. That experience shaped his belief that skilled trades — particularly plumbing — are not only essential services but represent the future of sustainable, local business.

“The trades are the backbone of our communities,” said Gringauz. “Plumbing isn’t going anywhere. Homes still need water heaters, drain lines still clog, and infrastructure still needs knowledgeable professionals. ExpertPipe Indy is built on the idea that homeowners deserve accurate information, honest diagnostics, and real solutions — not pressure sales or confusion.”

ExpertPipe Indy provides a full range of residential plumbing services, including drain cleaning and snaking, hydro jetting, water heater repair and replacement for gas, electric, and tankless systems, sump pump installation and repair, water softeners, sewer camera inspections, and emergency plumbing services. The company uses advanced diagnostic tools such as professional video camera inspections and commercial-grade drain equipment to properly identify problems and avoid unnecessary or oversized repairs.

As more homeowners search online for a plumber near me, Indianapolis plumber, or Carmel water heater replacement, ExpertPipe Indy aims to stand out by offering clarity and education throughout the service process. Technicians take time to explain findings, show camera footage when applicable, and walk customers through repair versus replacement options.

“Not every plumbing issue needs a full replacement,” Gringauz added. “Sometimes a water heater can be repaired. Sometimes a drain line can be cleared without excavation. Our job is to explain what’s actually happening so customers can make informed decisions that fit their home and budget.”

The launch of ExpertPipe Indy comes as many homeowners report frustration with rising costs, unclear pricing, and aggressive upselling practices within the home services industry. ExpertPipe Indy positions itself as a local, owner-operated plumbing company focused on long-term relationships, second opinions, and practical solutions backed by real field experience. Indiana Plumbing License #C052500055

The company proudly serves Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Zionsville, Westfield, Noblesville, Meridian Hills, and surrounding Central Indiana communities. With fast response times, clear communication, and a strong commitment to honest service, ExpertPipe Indy is designed to be the go-to option for homeowners seeking reliable plumbing help without unnecessary pressure.

ExpertPipe Indy is now accepting service calls and consultations. Homeowners looking for trusted plumbing services, water heater repairs, drain cleaning, or emergency plumbing can call or text (317) 731-3028 to schedule service or request an evaluation.

Top-5 Apple Podcasts Management Show Helps Audiences Untangle Business and Culture

We Fixed It, You’re Welcome Announces January 20 Return for Season Three.

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, January 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — We Fixed It, You’re Welcome, the fast-growing podcast examining how business decisions intersect with culture, has wrapped its second season and announced the launch of Season Three on January 20, 2026.

Since debuting in late 2024, We Fixed It, You’re Welcome has steadily expanded its audience, ranking in the Top 5 Management podcasts on Apple Podcasts and in the Top 100 shows overall out of more than two million. The show has gained recognition for helping listeners understand not just what companies do, but why those decisions resonate or fail once they reach the public.

Season Two reinforced the podcast’s reputation for timely, context-driven conversations that meet cultural moments as they are unfolding. Highlights included an in-depth discussion of Disney+ with Michael Cerda, one of the platform’s creators, an episode recorded during the Sydney Sweeney–American Eagle controversy as guest Lola Bakare was emerging as a subject-matter expert quoted in Forbes, Ad Age, and other outlets, and a fan-favorite episode in which the panel unboxed a Labubu on air, using the moment to examine consumer behavior, brand symbolism, and cultural meaning.

The show has also begun shaping its own language, with its panel of “fearless fixers” coining phrases such as “culture shrug” as shorthand for large-scale business bets that pass through the culture without leaving a meaningful impression.

“I conceptualized this show as looking at big companies in trouble and thinking we could do a better job of fixing them,” said We Fixed It, You’re Welcome creator and host Aaron Wolpoff. “What’s become equally interesting is examining the cultural ripple effects that follow those moments, which new listeners really connect with.”

While categorically a business show, each episode now strikes a balance between business and culture, bringing together broad perspectives from marketing, operations, people, and brand leadership, and using plainspoken analysis and humor to unpack high-profile brand moments and cultural flashpoints.

As the show prepares to return for its third season, We Fixed It, You’re Welcome continues to carve out a distinct lane by blending sharp business critique with cultural awareness and levity, offering audiences a clearer way to engage with complex and often controversial brand moments.

All archived episodes from Seasons One and Two are available to stream at wefixeditpod.com. New episodes will release weekly beginning January 20.
